70 Northwest authors have signed up to participate in the 7h Annual
Florence Festival of Books held in Florence, September 30, at the
Florence Events Center between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. You can have any
books that you buy signed and personalized. And this book fair has no

On Friday, September 29, at 7 p.m., John
Daniel, award-winning poet and author of Rogue River Journal and
Gifted, will be the Keynote Speaker. Tickets are just $8 in advance or
$10 at the door.
Friday event, this one requiring no fee, is the panel
discussion––Making Your Writing the Best It Can
Be––from 3 to 4:30 p.m. between various prominent Northwest
authors and editors. This event is also at the Events Center.

C.R.O.W. Fundraiser Car Wash
been driving oh so far, so let a C.R.O.W. kid wash your car!” The
Fundraiser car wash will be held Saturday, Sept. 23rd from 11 am to 3 pm at
the C.R.O.W. Center for the Performing Arts (3120 Hwy 101). All
donations collected at this event go directly to programming and
crucial building renovations that will make the C.R.O.W. Center for the
Performing Arts be finally complete.
